Agnes Gimme was born in the early 1960’s in a bush humpy on the Canning Stock Route, Western Australia, and is one of the daughters of the late, famed Eubena Nampitjin (dec.) Her sister (dec.) was Bridgette Mutji's mother.
Eubena Nampitjin passed her Dreamings down to Agnes. Agnes and Wishy often paint together in Broome, most of their Dreamings being of places along the Canning Stock Route, especially Kinyu (Well 35) and Kunawarritji (Well 33)
Agnes generally paints with Acrylic on Canvas in a more traditional style, occasionally using Ochre which is collected from the rocks at the bottom of Balgo Lookout, a spot also used for Lore Business.
